Here is the final press art I did for the upcoming 1-hour finale of The Legend of Korra, which airs on Saturday, June 23. Thanks for all of the kind words and support as I posted some of the in-progress elements along the way. I was sick and exhausted through most of the process, so the positive vibes were more than welcome. Amon’s mask received a minor nose job since I posted that layer last week: he has less of the signature Konietzko schnoz now.
This is so beautiful and awesome and flawless and I can’t wait for the season finale!
This scene makes me worried? If an when she finds how what happened between Mako and Korra (because at some point it’ll come back up)…I’m afraid it’ll get ugly. But how lovely is this character study in general, this is definitely a real reaction. It fascinates me how this show can portray an array of emotions through essentially 2D drawings. Sometimes I forget these characters ARE “cartoons”, because they seem so real.
Man Tenzin is going to have the BEST MORNINGS EVER living with three airbending kids, four teenagers, and a pregnant wife.
And by best I mean worst.
Also I have no idea why I actually coloured this, the sketch was probably good enough hurp
This is what I assume the place is going to turn into. (*O*) Beautiful chaos!
