Let’s end with a picture of him being all young and cute.
Enjoy, Always-Fair-Weather.
Hope you had a great birthday!
Excuse me while I faint now.
Thus lastly we have Ziegfeld Follies!
Gene danced with the great Fred Astaire in this movie, and they seemed to balance out each others styles. :)
And that concludes the birthday spam for always-fair-weather! I really hoped you enjoyed it, as we well as other Gene Kelly fans.
Then we have The Young Girls of Rochefort!
This movie is all in French I believe. However, even though Gene could speak fluent French, his voice was dubbed in the movie. So I have read.
Still, from clips and from what I read of what the movie is about, it seems like a cutesy piece.
Then we have Xanadu, which I can’t think about without cringing.
Sorry Gene!

Next is Words and Music!
Gene Kelly guest starred in this movie in a dance with the lovely Vera-Ellen. This dance (to the music of Slaughter on 10th Avenue) was just phenomenal!
Onward to the W’s. And the first we have What a Way to Go!
Next we have The Three Musketeers!
I found his wig more funny than his mustache in this film. Haha.
Now we have Take Me Out to the Ball Game!
Another Frank and Gene film! They also did three films together!
Then we have Summer Stock!
This was Gene and Judy’s last film they did together. Three films in total. I wish there were more though.
On to the very film that Gene Kelly was hugely known for: Singin’ in the Rain!
I won’t say anything much about this film, besides it’s definitely a film you must see. ;)
Next we have everyone’s secret little pleasure The Pirate!
This is Gene and Judy’s second film together, and frankly their chemistry in this film is just wonderful!
Then we have Pilot No. 5!
Yet another film I haven’t seen. They just keep on rolling in! *hangs head* I really want to seem them too!
Next we have my favorite Gene Kelly musical film On the Town!
This film is simply a joy to watch from start to finish!
Next we have Marjorie Morningstar!
Critics have it as not a very good film for several reasons.
