To everyone who is freaking out over Carter quitting
She is not. She is the only female protagonist and CBS implies that she needs to be given more screen time. To do that she would have to be on a team in one way or another (remember how underdeveloped her character was at the beginning when she was hunting down Reese). Producers won’t cut her character, and they won’t make her trying to catch the guys again (that would be very OOC for her considering she approves of what they are doing, she has issues with methods they use). Carter will, probably, be laid off for a few episodes to deal with the issues she has with them, while the story line will be centered around Fusco and HR. We haven’t seen much of it recently.
